2 Major Sets of Colors

Set 1: Dark/Light grey, Minty green, Off white

• cool colors imply a cool summer
• Donna Karan shows concerns the green house effect that makes the summer hotter & hotter
• reflective, shinny materials are used for the Dark grey color
• gives an even frosty, chilly feeling

Set 2: Beige

• appear again in this collection
• apart from black & white, beige is used the most frequently
• beige=nude colors
• the most natural color
• since has similar tones as our skin

Two high intensity and iconic colors are shown, the Reflective Blue & Pink. This two colors give a strong presence. Since the entire collection is pale & plain, this two high density strong colors can create great contrast. This provides an alternative option for the target customers and can also test market response regarding the new color.

The blue is used in the fall winter collection of the same year, however in a much higher value to suit the dim & dark fall winter collection.
